Just read the announcement by Jim Murphy, the Scottish Secretary, that the jobs at the Range have been saved. Great news, the next step now should be getting Qinetiq out, they never wanted it in the first place, and getting MoD back here and using the Range and its facilities to their full potential. Who knows, we might see some of our troops stationed here again.

Excellent news. :-D

But, if the MoD need to make savings who gets the hit? :(

I am with you 100% on getting Qinetiq out. I used to work for the RAE many years ago and we were always busy.
